MSC held its Last team tournament of the year on December 15th out of Spinners Resort. The day was chilly at first but turned out to be a nice day , fishing was good for all. 56 anglers fished and 19 teams participated in the event bringing 71 Striped Bass to the scales!
Taking the First Place honors for the second month in a row was Team Striper Hyper Captain Kevin Morse and Father Charles Morse both from Prosperity SC with their 4 fish creel of 29lbs 11ozs. Team Striper Hyper also captured the Nichols Store of Rock Hill Big Fish award with their Striper tipping the scales at 11lbs 6ozs.
Second Place is awarded to Team Gar-Hart Captain Shawn Garheart from Lexington SC, Woody Barnes from Lexington SC , Daniel Sullivan from Lexington SC with their 4 fish creel of 26 lbs 11 oz.
Third Place was secured by Team Landlocked Captain Brensinger and Joey Smoak both from Lexington SC, and Wayne Bell from Saluda SC with their 4 fish creel of 26 lbs 8 ozs.
The events West Marine smallest creel award went to Team Stand & Deliver Captain Ray Felton from Prosperity SC.
MSC is a family friendly fishing club and honors our top finishing Youth and Lady anglers in each event. The Youth trophy goes to Jacob Corley from Lexington SC who fished with Team Hammer Head, Lady Angler trophies goes to Ann Johnson and Sandra Derrick from Irmo SC who fished with Team Let 'em Live.
