MSC held its Monthly Team Tournament, Second one of 2013 on February 16th out of Spinners Resort. The day was Very Cold and WET all day, but most boats brought fish to the scales. 25 teams participated in the event bringing 80 Striped Bass to the scales!
Taking the First Place honors is awarded to Team Shad up & Fish Captain Shawn Garheart of Lexington SC, John Sightler of Lexington SC, and Woody Barnes of Lexington SC 4 fish creel of 28lbs 15ozs.
Second Place is awarded to Team Landlocked Captain Richy Brensinger and Joey Smoak both from Lexington SC, and Wayne Bell from Saluda SC with their 4 fish creel of 28 lbs 0 oz.
Third Place was secured by Team Overtime Captain Ted Powell and his son Daniel Powell from Lexington, SC with their 4 fish creel of 26 lbs 05 oz.
Team Overtime also captured the Nichols Store of Rock Hill Big Fish award with their Striper tipping the scales at 10lbs 0ozs.
The events smallest creel award went to Team Old Line Sides Captain James Samsel From Leesville SC and Tom Gitto from Chapin SC and Tony Long From Aiken SC.
MSC is a family friendly fishing club and honors our top finishing Youth and Lady anglers in each event. The Youth trophy goes to Daniel Powell from Lexington, SC who fished with Team Overtime, Lady Angler trophies goes to Kaitlyn Pittman from West Columbia SC who fished with Team Pittcrew.
