If you are interested in learning to target larger reservoir stripers, plan on attending the Midlands Striper Club (MSC) meeting on Feb 9th. The meeting starts at 7 pm at The Flight Deck Restaurant, which is located at 109-A Old Chapin Rd in Lexington, SC. Come early to eat and tell fishing tales.
Guests are welcome and encouraged
A presentation will be given at the meeting by John Sawyer on “Fishing For Reservoir Stripers, A How-To Handbook,” with emphasis being placed on techniques that can be used to land larger freshwater stripers this time of year.
Whether you are a beginning reservoir striper fisherman looking to catch greater numbers of fish, or an experienced reservoir striper angler looking to land your first 30+ lb fish, you may find “Fishing For Reservoir Stripers, A How-To Handbook” helpful.
See ya there!!!
… it’s my Wife’s fault we HAVE to fish !!!

This should be a great presentation! I would encourage anyone wanting to learn more about striper fishing to buy this book. It’s the best $20 you can spend on fishing and it has tons of information! I hope to be able to make the trip to see this presentation.

Agreed - I’ve been told that club member will receive a discount … Not sure how much, but then again what does it matter …

Dad and I plan to come. We haven’t been apart of MSC in 12 years. Any need to know info? Where to go at Flight Deck? When to arrive to eat as well?

I would try to get there between 6:00 & 6:30 if you plan to eat - otherwise 6:30ish is fine …
When you get there tell them you’re with the Striper Club and they will take you to our room …
Look forward to seeing you there
I had all intentions on coming last night, but couldn’t. Wife works downtown and didn’t get home in time. I appreciate the open invite, maybe next time.
