This month Ray Ammarell will be our guest speaker.

Ray Ammarell is a hydrologist with SCE&G and he will be speaking on the topic of thermal stratification on Lake Murray.

DNR Biologist, Ron Ahle will also be on hand to discuss the affects on the fish population.

As always, come early to grab a bite to eat and swap tall tales and don’t forget to bring some extra dollars for door prizes.

Great program last night! Thanks for putting it together Rick. Though most of Ray’s presentation was confirmation of a lot of things I’ve been thinking for years, I did learn that hydrologists look at turnover differently than fishermen. What they see as merely an onset of the process is a signal to us as anglers to switch tactics and locations in pursuit of our stripers.
