Congrats to those who filled their creel today. Wish we made it back in time to see Lee Thomas’ slob. Lost a board with an hour or so left to fish and had to retrieve from shore after lines out. Today sucked pretty bad on the catching side. Had maybe 5 short strikes and only boated 3 short fish. We trolled from before Hawleek all the way around to the brick wall @ Big Mans. Then with 2 hours left headed to Crystal. Fished water from 5’ to 40’ Deep. Big baits, Small baits. 12 Rods. Deep and top water. Nothing worked. Had 10 dozen or more bait on the boat and came back with about 2 doz left. Bait never died on the hook and stayed fiesty. Just couldn’t find a bite. Marked tons of fish sniffing down rods but completely struck out. The new boat performed great. The recirculating tank on the boat worked fantastic. Might not be running the keep alive bait tank unless it’s for a good number big bait.
