Amazing haul! I wish I was catching flounder that size?!
I fish my minnow hooked up thru the head with a 2/0 snelled Mosquito hook, about 12" of 17# flouro to a small black swivel, to 30# braid. No lead… cast in to the bank pulling it about every 5 secs up in very skinny water back to the boat… kinda like fishing a fresh water bass worm. I think I went thru 40 minnows and had to rerig at least 20 times. Oysters are tuff on gear. I don’t set the hook right away, I figure when they move they got it just like a bass.
