Didn’t see many people shrimping in Muddy Bay Saturday. Shrimped outgoing tide and a couple hours of incoming. Got 3/4 cooler in 6 passes then we went fishing. Caught 3 keeper trout and a 22-7/8 Redfish. It was a great day on the bay. Ready to go back now.

Gotta love the expandable ruler! HAHA
Life is like a piece of doodoo…no matter if it sinks or floats…you always get flushed in the end
Good report, thanks. Make sure to squeeze that tail,LEO will squeeze it to get 23, but i doubt he would to give you the 15. I like how you roll, nothing like max meat for trip
Squeeze for full length or fork length? I know reds are total length . I saw them squeezing Spanish mackerel tails on reeling up the coast Sunday. Either way I didn’t squeeze.

Squeeze for square tails to measure and simply measure to the center of the fork for forked tail fish. Here’s a link to the SCDNR site on how to measure a fish. http://www.dnr.sc.gov/regs/fishmeasuring.html.
Check the regs to see which fish are measured by tail length and which are measured by fork length. It can be confusing.

RIP my “Puppy Dog” 10/15/2004 - 1/14/2013. Still can’t get him out of my mind. What a special friend he was.
Easyriding, what size were the shrimp in the bay?
about 60% small 30% large. In Mud Bay in Georgetown not Muddy Bay
Thanks. Just wondered. We caught some in Muddy Bay near Mc-ville but they were small.
Still an awful lot of small ones in Cape Romain Harbor. Good numbers, though.
Must really be slow in BB, splashed at Buck Hall Tues 8:30 AM, and there were 3 parking spots left in main parking lot.
