Mullet or Other Bait Around???

I was wondering if you any of you guys have seen a decent concentration of mullet or other baitfish lately? I can get up in the creeks so any specific areas won’t hurt my feelings. I just want 10 or 20 fat mullets really. Thanks

they never really left this year just got thin and hid well…they’re there/here…still around yes lol

ALL over the shallow flats right now. Also, good concentrations at the very back ends of small creeks. Most of them are in the 6-10 inch size range.

We can just get them out of my backyard, they get stuck back there year round.

I just went to the creek in the back yard and in 1 net throw I got about 20 mullet, most over 6" long. The mullet have been around…at least the biggins.

im sure that herring are still probably in tailrace canal both near the dam and well downstream of it. drop a sabiki rig and pull em up 3 or 4 at a time. honestly i caught the herring just about as fast drifting my kayak through random spots back to the ramp as sitting at the dam…doesnt seem to matter much where you go.

Yes there are mullet. I caught some in the cast net out in Awendaw on the ICW on Saturday.
