Has anyone ever used a multi-filament cast net whether it’s for deep hole shrimping or throwing over bait? Was wondering if they functioned much differently from the cast nets made from mono-filament.

I use to use the old hand made cotton ones! Boy did they ever get heavy after soaking for a while!
