Dads lookin to redo the electronics on the fountain he wants to go with a unit that has it all chartplotter,gps,sonar,radar. Any ideas need a good setup but dont wanna take out a loan to get it ya know thanks.

The Garmin 52XX family can’t be beat. This is a large screen Multi Function Display and is rediculously user friendly. Other than the MFD you’ll need a few things-
-17x NMEA 2K GPS antenna (this will give you a N2K network to add to in the future
-GSD 22 Sounder. This will require an additional transducer, but is a terrific bottom maching.
-GXM 51. This is an outstanding N2K antenna that will give you access to your choice of XM WX weather services, and an option for SiriusXM music.
All of these units can have a radar incorporated into it. I have logged over 200 hours on my 5212 so far. A little pricy, but wonderful units to use.
