Murray 12/19 Stripers

Forced myself out of my comfort zone and hit Clouds Creek to sling clousers and such. Went up Clouds with no luck. Went up Little Saluda and found a cut off the river with lots of bird activity(few gulls, but a good many blue herons). Ended up with 3 keepers and a decent greenie.

Grey/white clouser from the bank to 4’ or so. Missed a few others.

By far the farthest I’ve been up LS.

smallmouth? striper? trout? Good to get out of the ol’ comfort zone!

I fish Elbow Bend up to the river to the river forks. I do better with schools down to 25’. Look at graph. Still lots of birds up Little Saluda.

Sinking lines and coyotes or clousers on deep schools and int on schools/birds.
