We were on a 30 year Mako with no electronics whatsoever, so I can’t tell you the depth other than we never got deeper than 50’. No live bait. I also can’t divulge the secret as to what was on the end of the line, but I can tell you that the old men around call the method “jerkin off”. I’m fishing in the morning with Richard Hall. Hope to have a repeat.

good deal !! I’ll have to wait until 2nd week of March , to try again… they should be in the coves around Pine Is. by then …

I got out of work a early and got to Lake world around four. Due to limited time I decided to launch at the dam. Ended up cathing one on a freeline, about 24". Had a couple short hits but missed them right around the towers but caught the one along the dam. I passed over a pretty big school around the towers several times. But they kept moving. So I guess they are scattered just about everywhere

Richard and I caught around twenty this morning, back at Jakes as the rain started. Most of the stuff you mark around the towers is backflow. Fish are scattered right now.

Were the twenty above or below the gap???
