Had a bad feeling when we were not able to locate any concentrations of fish around the points we’ve been fishing the last month. Was able to find some in 65 foot water midway between Burton Point and Wessinger. Fish hanging between 30-45 feet. Only managed 5 shorts and several weak strikes. What action we had was pretty well split between mid-depths and right off the bottom. Maybe next time.
I was out there as well, had two good knock down. One strike at the boat realing up. Marked a lot of fish, but only the couple bites. I saw 4-5 get caught, just too windy for my little boat.
