Finally got out on the lake after a week of dodging evening storms and being leary of having the boat put out. Beautiful morning with water temps of 82 degrees. Tried our hand near the Towers again. Saw lots of fish and there were lots of boats, but the bite was a little on the slow side. Had several pull downs but only a few hooked up. Managed 3 fish between 5 1/2 and 6 pounds and saw several others caught by various boats that appeared to be about the same size. Couple people were throwing top water but I didn’t see any catches. No wall mounters for us today. Left about 9 to head back toward LHM and looked for fish along the way in our holes, humps, and points, but saw nothing. Not sure if that means we were too late in looking there or fish were just somewhere else.
