I’m probably heading out saturday night. I have not been out on the lake in a few weeks. Are the fish hitting good at night?
looks like this weddings gonna have me covered up for at least till the second week in oct.
but i am still hoping for some time to get out. if not back to the salt on the 2nd then offshore out of half moon cay in the bahammas, that should be exciting. i tore down and rebuilt reels over a month ago and have yet to use them for the first time. someone pray for me…lol… tight lines.
tom, got some at night last Sun, but haven’t been out at all this week…i’ll post how we do fri nite

wish to hell that i had gotten some last sun night. then i probably could have gone fishing the rest of the week. LOL LOL
man we wore the reds out! caught them on everything we threw and sized from 14" to 32", probably caught over 75 fish over sat and about an hour on sun and mon. 90% of fish were reds but had alot of short trout,flounder, black drum <—(theres your stripes report lol) and some trash inshore fish. hit up my " 5 mile inshore reef hole" (this is inshore i mean back in the creeks is where this hole is) lol. and managed 2 14" bsb and about 10 shorts. highlight of the weekend was taking first place in the red division with a 23" 4 1/2# red. for the last two years i have been beatin by .01th of a pound. just found a small window to maybe go next thurs just got to do some honey dos.
Marked tons of fish trolling, but couldn’t get away from the shorties last night and only wound up with 1 keeper and a bunch of shorts. I don’t know how many fish we missed totally or lost reeling in, but it was more than I can ever remember in one trip. Guess I need to sharpen some hooks.
I think I’m going to settle for listening to the game on the radio and give it a shot again tonight. Putting in about 7:30 if anyone wants to go.
