Fished this morning out of spinners. Birds were circling right in the cove and we saw a few fish hitting the surface. Fished there for the first hour with a couple short strikes. Moved up to Hawleek and never had a hit. Fished a few spots from there down to buffalo. Ended up way back in a cove to get out of the wind and caught one that was just 21".
ST,must have been tough today. Bait or chasing the school bus?

Bait, I don’t like chasing birds. I just end up psst off because of the idiots running full speed into them. I got some real nice herring at Lake World. The one I caught was on a planer board up along a tree that fell in on the bank. It was only about 3’ deep. I didn’t think I was going to get anything back there but I just wanted out of the wind.
Tom, ended with 10 all around 18" on the upper side of the house with the block wall in the middle of the elbow after i called you. that wind was just horrible and couldn’t stand it anymore and headed back in. My high point of the day was watching a bald eagle take really large brim away from loons and then take it to the nest and return for more. the loons were thick in the same spot i was catching the stripes and all were coming up with brim bout the size of your hand or bigger.
