Got out about 7:30 so I decided to stay closer to home and launch from my buddies launch. Found fish in the mouth of the cove again in 40 to 50 feet of water. Fish were mostly down about 15 to 35 feet. Bait showed up really thick at 10:30 again. I dumped out what was left of my bought bait and got about 8 dozen nice sized herring in one throw. Ended up with 6 from 21 to 25" and a few shorts. Fished till 2AM, but didn’t get a keeper after midnight.
fished friday night. wasn’t going to crowd in with the rest of the fleet just out from the launch but after passing through and FF lighting up i said what the hell. Put down the TM put it in spot lock and sat there for a couple hrs. caught 6 there 4 keepers from 24-26" nice fat fish just off the bottom in 50’. bite slowed way down some moved over off yacht cove point and picked up some more shorts in 40-50’ of water off the bottom and suspended…fun night get out there. they are biting.
