Does anyone have a recommendation for a good Lake Murray striper guide?

i second the above. always seemed to know where the fish would be when i would give him a call to see where they were!
Anne and Chip, Thank y’all so much. Due to some ‘fiscal challenges’ I had to take a job back in the data center. I thought that I had a good plan as I took a senior manager position overseeing second and third shift and worked an 8PM to 4AM schedule. That would have allowed me to fish the morning bite. Well, one of my guys on third is out battling cancer and my third shift manager took another job in Blythewood. So, that puts me on third to cover the gap. I am pretty much out of it for awhile - I can pull off Sunday evening or Monday morning trips. I keep Saturdays open for the boat rigging piece of my business. Crabjack, give me a call - 803.920.0400 - and I can give you some recommendations. I have known Bill Bennett for many years and he is an excellent fisherman and a great person, so, Elly’s suggestion is spot on. Different guides prefer different techniques and you may want to choose one based on their style - trolling or bait fishing. There are several good guides on Murray and I am blessed to know most of them.
Take care and tight lines, Jim
Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll be looking to hire a guide sometime this spring just not exactly sure when. dernflatlander - thanks for the offer. You may be hearing from me.
Cheers
