Anyone doing any “catching” on Murray in the last day or so?
Was thinking about fishing this weekend (nights), but don’t want to waste the gas (90 minute trip) if the stripers aren’t biting.

went out for a while earlier tonite for the first time in a while and it looks like things are picking up with the cooler weather…got a few shorts, a small keeper and a 33" 16 lb’er in just 2 hrs of trolling…caught them all up around 25 to 30’ after dark

tim the fish already coming back up? is that what you are saying or am i reading that wrong? or are they only that shallow after the sun goes down?
i still marked some deep fish too, but the ones I marked up higher seemed more eager to bite…i’m not sure what it looked like out there earlier as I didn’t get out there until about 8:00…i may go for a couple of hours tonite too, but probably won’t be until about the same time

Plenty of fish from 20-35 ft…wound up 8…kept 1 25" and the rest looked like they would have been small keepers or just short…

My buddies fished last night. I couldn’t make it.
They ended up with 5 keepers. Caught a bunch more shorts.
80 ft of water. Fish about 40ft deep.
Planning to go Thursday A.M. Plan was to pull a couple bucktails with Hawg Callers up top, 2 U-Rigs and 2 Stretch 25’s…Pulling from Hollywood pt, across ■■■■ and up to Jakes…Good idea or no? Anyone doing the same…I see a lot of PM reports but not as many AM. I haven’t done serious striper fishing in a few years now on the lake. Used to do it daily up in Hollow creek while in high school
