I had the boat on the truck so I decided to give it a try after the kids went to bed. Got on the water about 9 and tried to get some bait in the lights at koon landing. Got a few but they were all small. Found another light dock and caught more small ones and 3 really big (8"-9") herring. First line out caught a 26 1/2" fatty. Planer board up on a shallow point, probably 3’ deep. Caught a few more shorts and called it a night.
