Murrells Inlet ramp

Is this ramp good at all tides for 22’ CC? Easy run out to ocean looks like, take main creek out behind GC then out thru the jetties?

I assume you are talking about the public ramp by restaurant row.
Yes you should be fine in a 22 ft boat. Just stay in the markers and they will take you right out to big water. One of the easier places to get out that I have been to. There is a lot of boat traffic in that area and DNR has stepped up patrols which will hopefully cut down on drunks doing stupid things.

^^^SCbigben28 has you covered.^^^ The times people have trouble with MI is when they fail to head the markers and bouys. There are a few spots that the channel runs very close to the markers but as long as you pay a little attention, MI is no problem. Tight lines.

Make sure you bring your walking shoes! You’ll need em once you park the truck/trailer! Like scbigben said…stay in between the markers and you’ll be fine even at low tide. Head boats still go in and out of there daily. Good luck! Let us know how you did when you return.

Plenty of water…Go fast!!!:stuck_out_tongue:

I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it. I think I’m going fishing…!!

I have seen 30’ cc get out at dead low tide no problem. In the way out, stay on the far left side about 10 foot of the bank. There is a big sand bar that comes about halfway across the channel until you pass the idle no wake signs.
