Went to Murrells Inlet Thursday (Dec. 15). Fished some back creeks at high tide around 11-1 only to catch a stingray. Moved out to the rocks and about 3 oclock it turned on. Over all caught 12 reds, 2 trout a black, a blue and a sting ray. All redfish and trout were caught using a 1/4 oz plain lead jighead with Gulp new penny and natural shrimp. It was a killer day with the temp topping out about 70 degrees with little wind. Had a great time with my friend TJ. Ended his vacay with a day like this! Good luck in the bowl game TJ! Go Gamecocks!
Btw these fish are bigger than they appear. TJ is 6’5" 320 and I am 6’2" 255. Had the ole Key West loaded down with just us! Happy Hollidays!

Nice trout. I’ll take them over a red any day of the week. Catching them on artificial is where it’s at. Using live bait just doesn’t get my juices flowing.
