music player on boats

My current boat (sea pro bay) is my second boat. Ever since i have owned a boat i have wanted a music player on it(cd,mp3,sirus) but never have got one. Every time i mention to my dad that i may do it he says, “dont turn that d**n thing on while I am on the boat.” the other day i took some speakers for my i pod on the boat with me. I had it on for five min and i see why he says that. I hated it. off it went. Could not concentrate on what I was doing. i will never again want to near music while i am fishing. It interrupts the solitude of being out there. After all, that’s why we go. It not really the fish, they just make it that much sweeter!

I don’t play mine when fishing at all but boy do I let it rip when running fast. It helps lower my blood pressure.

I used to do that on sport bikes. I would listen to my mp3 player and when some avenged sevenfold or sevendust came on rotation it was wheelie and raising hell time.

I like to listen to my radio when just hanging out on the beach or tubing but never when fishing.

My wife loves to fish and she loves listening to music on the boat while we fish. As long as I get to fish and drink beer whenever I want, the music will stay! And I dont really mind the music, but can fish with or without.

Don’t have a knack for makin motors crank,
But I’m pretty good at drinkin beer
