Had a great day on the water today but not much on the fishing action. And judging from the radio chatter it was slow everywhere within radio communication. Lines in the water and before we got them all in, a hookup that pulled the hook after about 5 seconds. After that nada for hours. Finally got a few slingers in the boat after hours of nothing. Pulled the hook on a nice sailfish when she jumped. Saw a really nice Blue Marlin greyhounding and flipping over on her back before entering the water. I saw 3 jumps in all. The mahi were acting a bit strange today. They gave up fighting just like a cuda after a short run and we pulled them to the boat surfing on top of the water. I thought that was strange. Foul hooked one of them. Tried pulling splitbill naked hoo, skirts with hoo and skirts with no meat. best luck was definately on the big chuggers with no meat which I thought was strange as well. Global warming I guess. All in all a great day on the water with great folks that have become good friends over the last year. I cannot express my gratitude to Captain Tom for he and Miss, Lordy Mercy, Darlenes’ generosity. Tight lines
