I wanted to send a note about my great experience fishing with Mike in Punta Cana. I had a great time and was very impressed with the all of the services that Mike provided. Mike took care of every little detail from picking up and dropping off at the airport, letting me use his computer for emailing at his office, picking me up and dropping me off for fishing, taking great pictures and emailing them too me after the trip, and making himself available to make my experience as enjoyable as possible. The fishing was great also! I had a blast fishing with Mike, Captain Manuel, and mate Catch. They were all friendly, accommodating, very knowledgeable, and professional. I think they were more excited than me (which I didn’t think was possible), when I caught my first ever marlin. I can’t wait to come back!
hey guys,
no offense, but you should read first before you ■■■■ somebody for something.
Marlin blue or white:
all billfishes shown in this post are white Marlin and Dieter never mentioned a blue marlin, neither did i.
Flag:
i know there are different forms of the use of flags, we do it the way the american east coast is using the flags, that means a white Flag with a blue print of a marlin is for white Marlin, and like you see on the image the flag is mounted head down, that means Fishes been released.
the image number #3:
that fish on image #3 is alive and it is exactly the same fish which is shown at it’s release moment on image #4, so what is to ■■■■ on that report/review??
Actually mike, they make different flags for different fish. Blue marlin, sailfish, and swordfish are all white flags with blue fish. Each has their own flag. White marlin flags are blue with a white fish. Also, the drawings usually show the differences in the dorsal fins too.
That is definitely a swordfish flag. But hey, it’s no big deal. I doubt they can run to boaters world and pick them up as easily as we can.
When I first read this, I was thinking of: “Jimmy can move,” “Jimmy can dunk,” Jimmy can…" “Don’t touch Jimmy!” (If you’ve ever seen the Seinfeld episode). I was curious what Mike you were talking about. Mike from Aggressor? (Your name is MikeFiser).
Either way, congrats on your trip. It definately got me in the travel mood. Thanks for sending the pics. It’s kind of dead and hot up here.
A first blue is an awesome thing. You never let us know if you got “dunked” at the dock. If not, we’ll wait till you get back.
Looks like you’re having fun down there. Bring back some memories and stories.
