My dock report

For the first time in about 6 months i can see the bottom of my creek in 4 feet of water. This cold snap has removed some algae i guess so the water is clearing up.I threw a shad and caught 4 trout. One was about 18 inches the rest about 14.Just as fast as they hit the bite shut off.I must have just missed a school of trout heading out of my creek.I threw the net and caught about 5 big shrimp. After that 7 more casts and not one shrimp but several small menhaden.I will pull the boat out and fill it up friday and maybe just maybe Mon hit the river.Water temp was 74 in my creek.Lost my thermometer when it got hung in the cast net and i threw the net.Last time i pulled the boat out a tire went flat.Had to get a new rim and tire $140.This time it better go well because i have to put about 70 gal in the boat.UGH!!! :frowning: Maybe I should call Obumma for help???

Joe…we fished yesterday’s and the water was super clear in Rockville!..butit was when I went in the folly too…nice…will get to use my underwater camera soon for sheeps! Haha.

Let us know how that goes, Joe…

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

Joe,
When I lived in God’s country, (74-76,77-early82), we ran our boats dry after every use and flushed.
Do you do this because of corn gas, or to just use Stabil over the winter months, and be ready to go when you want?

I use Stabil and run my boat every good day i can.It is full now and i will be out first good day.
