I had a friend from New Jersey book a two day charter and we spent two days catching these big boys.
Nice job man! Hope the water’s not too dirty tomorrow to find them.

Did that guy pull in on ya after you were already set up and catching fish? If so, poor form.
No he and I were working the same line of grass. He is actually further than it looks wasn’t a problem. Robert has fished with me a couple of times he loves coming to South Carolina to catch our redfish. We will be back in the spring to fish another weekend.
So now your friend from NJ thinks it OK to stress redfish with boga-grips. Second picture is much better as far as handling technique.

nice work captain conservation . let’s run off another charter captain from the site
I am not trying to run anyone off this site. The picture was taken in Hamlin Sound/Gray Bay and those fish are stressed plenty by guides and those brave enough to navigate the oyster banks and shallow water. Besides, that sort of handling technique does NOTHING to show the true size and beauty of the fish. Just saying, sir!

Redfish4sure thank you for your concern of the redfish he was holding. The true size of those fish were both 31’ and 11lbs. Now for the stress of the fish they were released and were very strong swiming away only to be caught 100 times more. I haven’t posted many things on this site because of sh-- heads like you. If you have a problem with anything you see me do on the water or with my fish please feel free to call me at 843-847-1614 and we can dicuss the issue, but please dont hide behind this website to do it. I have looked at your profile and you do not list any contact information or you would not have to hide any more.
Well, there you go. I guess I would never use your service for guiding. I never called you any names and my concern was for the fish only. In the true circle of life, those fish belong to everyone as a natural resource and we all need to be very careful when handling something we can cannot reproduce easily. I do not hide behind anything, it is my choice not to disclose contact information. I am free to opine just as anyone else on this site. I would never do that to a fish, but to each his own. By the way, good job of putting your friend on fish as in the end, that is what it is all about. Sorry to have ruffled your feathers. Maybe your charter wanted that particular picture. I understand, the customer is always right. We can agree to disagree, but keep the name calling out of it, OK?

You are right. The name calling was out of place and I apologize. I did get my feathers ruffled because I did not ask for your opinion I simply was sharing a fishing report as the forum ask. If you have a suggestion to offer I will gladly listen. Yes my client wanted the picture taken that way and so it was. Enjoy your time on the water.
WOW I only wish to say nice pix inspite of!!!

Thanks for the post KnotStressed.
Danny, see if Andy will give you access to the Captains page, that way the only people that can respond to your posts are ones with access to that forum. Nice work on the fish.

Thank you, Captain. The same back at you and I trust all of your charters are as successful as this one was. Tight lines and safe waters!
