That is a result of a dump trailer of chicken waste a while back.

I sent 23 pics of some big bucks in velvet once, in October.

He wasn’t tricked

Give it a week and I’m gonna have more crooked neck than I know what to do with.

It’s about to be squash time… what does one do with an abundance of yellow squash? I try to give it mostly away, but this year there’s gonna be a bunch.

That’s awesome! I should get some this week, but won’t be as many as you have. I have a blend of yellow, zucchini and butternut, and what’s developing are a light green color. I’ve had that happen the last two years, but not with all plants. Your kids are adorable too! My youngest kids are in their 40’s now. Heck, even my grandsons aren’t little kids anymore and they grow up so fast! I miss having little kids around, but keeping up with a garden now is tough enough for me!

I also have potatoes, tomatoes, green beans and okra growing, and still have some collards from last season. I have basil, oregano, parsley, and some other herb too, thyme maybe. I had planted field peas too, but will have to replant them, as only a few came up. I’ve got bell peppers, onions & cucumbers in starter pans of potting soil, and all are replants too, so a bit late on them. I get a lot of oak leaves in my garden area, and usually mow them all and till them under, but my mower broke down. So, then I decided to rake them up & burn them and the state issued that burn ban. Then I had to replace the tires on my garden tiller, so things happened that slowed down my garden progress some this season.

I read that you said that you give a lot away, and I do that too. I keep on good terms with all my neighbors. :+1: :+1:

Nobody ever told me how much it hurts watching babies grow up.

It’s the best and worst!

Amen to that! Children are gifts from the Lord, but they grow up, and all we can do is the best we can with guiding them!

My wife has passed, but she’s the primary reason all my kids have turned out good! But it can be hard to watch them growing up, and a joy too! I wouldn’t change it for the world! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Pineapple plants bug me out  :joy:

They are so freaky haha

I saw a pineapple grove or plantation in Hawaii once that was as big as any bean field in the Carolinas I’ve ever seen. Really, pineapples as far as you could see.

They had this stuff called Wowie, good times

You probably knew some of my buddies that went to Maui after nam.
They made some good money but living in the bush took its toll.
All dead now
You didn’t go around their garden
They learned a few things from Charlie
My old lady loves anything pineapple
Until my boy told her what it means nowadays haha
