Hello all,
I’ve been trying to settle on a kayak for months now, my ideas range from a hobie pro angler to a diablo adios paddle/kayak hybrid. From Malibu to Native I thought of them all. My first ever yak I wanted to own was a native slayer and after test driving one today I am proud to say I am the owner of a newish Native Slayer 14.5. Shoutout to Dolphin Dave over at Time out Sports and Ski for helping to answer my many kayaking questions and hooking me up with this awesome kayak. He even took time to answer my questions while I was deployed via email and forum. It handled really well and my concern for stability was for nought. Even though 30 inches wides, the hull design does make a difference as much as hull width. I plan on using the yeti 45 as an alternative sitting position and bank seat when I’m able to fish off a bank. I plan to do some minor rigging this weekend so more pics to follow. Here are a few pics after a good washing
