i have been looking for quantity mylar tubing(2x or XL) for spoon flies. any body have a source? i know it was used as antenna rope but i cannot find anybody that sells a few hundred feet. now that i have the trick for super glue rather than epoxy they arent so bad to tie. the guy at thornes kept saying he would set me up but i think he was jerking my chain. guess he thot i would dime bag ebay.

Look for the piping in stores that sell fabric and ribbons. You may feel like a girlie-man but will receive plenty of help from plenty of women and perhaps real girlie-men.
oh im way over that. i buy black and purple and hot red nail polish and fancy gold ribbon all the time. i have been to a lot of the craft and fabric places and they occasionally have the small craft cord but not the size for spoons. there must be a manufacturer of the rope somewhere but i have wasted hours looking on the net.

what about sili skin instead of the mylar rope?
