N Bulls Bay Veteran's Day

Thanks to all of my fellow veterans for your service.

Well, My only time up to BB all season due to several cancellations due to strong winds. It was supposed to blow 8-10 today, it was closer to 15-18 knots out there. We motored around looking for shrimp for about an hour, no shrimp in the wake at all, then set up a few polls just inside White Bank, 1 shrimp in about an hour. Moved to 2 other spots and 1-polled it, Zero Shrimp. Tried a few deeper holes and saw NO reflections off the bottom in any of them. Casted in a few spots and Zero shrimp.
Talked to 3 other boats and the most anyone had caught was 10 shrimp.

We had a nice lunch at SeeWee Restaurant on the way home. Even w/ no shrimp, it beat being in the office.

Thought about going tonight in Harbor, but my friends who went out last night caught 3 dozen in 2 hours, so today is the end of the season for me, except for maybe a few attempts at deep holing.

10 months to next season…I am the eternal optimist that next year will be better. Until next year…Hope all have a Happy Thanksgiving and upcoming Christmas/Holiday season. We sure have a lot to be Thankfull for living in the Lowcountry.

It’s nice to get on the water either way, shrimp just a added bonus. I’m the optimist also, always looking forward to a better next year, kind of like my Browns" wait til next year". Hope you and all other fellas have a nice thanksgiving also .
