Would like to know if anybody has any experience with perception prodigy 12, perception carolina 12, Necky looksha 12, wilderness systems 125. I am looking for touring type kayak that I can outfit for fishing. I like the 12 footer bc it easily fits in my vehicle. I am relatively new to kayaking and would appreciate some advice. Thanks
check out the wilderness systems tsunami 120 and 125. imo, the perception boats are lacking in performance compared to the others. The necky is good and you might want to check out the native inuit

Thanks for the response. I am actually getting two kayaks, one for myself and one for my dad. Picked up a WS Tsunami 125 and planning on purchasing a used Perception America 13.5 with a rudder. Anybody familiar with the America? Reasonable price on a used one in excellent shape? Think it will keep up with the Tsunami? Lastly, just wanted to give Timeout a little plug - went in there yesterday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. I plan to do all my outfitting through them.
