Headed to Nassau in a couple weeks. Any ideas for fishing this time of the year down there?

I’m down there every 1-2 months. The one charter capt. I spoke with was $900/day, a 30+ ft CC, ran about 30 miles for trolling. I’d have thought there’d be something closer but haven’t found it (haven’t looked that hard either). I’ll be there in 3 weeks, I’ll look around more then.
my girlfriend has to go there between 8 and 10 times a year for business but will not be back there til Labor Day weekend. i will ask her to check around and get some info then post it here for the future. rough job i tell her.

besides fishing then, what are some good night life things to do in Nassau? We are staying near the atlantis.

Senor Frogs is always fun. there are plenty of other local clubs around Frogs. also nice Casinos if thats what you are looking for. sorry i will not be able to get any charter info til she can speak directly to folks down there. good casino / resort is the Crystal Wyndham Resort. it is near the Sandals Resort. between downtown and the casino there are several waterfront restauranats that are reasonable and good. hope this helps.

we are staying right next door to the atlantis. we were booked in the Wyndham but they are closing for renovation or cleaning or something. so they put us next door to the atlantis. have full access to all the atlantis property so that will be nice.
Well if you have full Atlantis access, take her to “The One and Only” at the Ocean Club. You can at least have drinks at the oceanside bar. The Atlantis shuttle will take you there, or a quick cab.

Next door neighbor just went down with the entire family for 4 days. He and his Son chartered “Bonefish” Simon Bain for 2 half day trips. Got on the bonefish both days, and said the guy worked really hard to get his 10 year old into the fish. Said he’d charter him again if he ever went back. Here’s a link:

I did not like Atlantis or the Hamas.It was Xmas day and all stores were closed.I guess a trip at that time of the year is not wise.
