Does anyone have an opinion or any experience with NauticStar boats? I’m particularly interested in their long term durability.
I have their 2102 Legacy model and have been very happy with it overall. It is a 2015 that I bought used in 2016. I have had some minor issues but what boat doesn’t. Mine were mostly wiring related. One of the bilge pumps stopped working and after much testing and tracing found a wire that had corroded. The kicker was the wire was not properly connected. It was just twisted together and taped. In the bilge area.
The other issue was with the stereo system. All of the speakers were wired with cheap wiring that as they pulled the insulation was pulled off in some spots which again lead to corrosion and the speakers no longer working.
With that being said I have been very happy with the boat. Great riding hull. My model has great seating throughout so great for cruising and fishing.
I have a 2012 2000XS and outside of the wiring is a solid boat. Had some issues with the radio, aft live we’ll light and a few speakers. Minor things but in my opinion I really think it’s a well designed 20 foot boat.

I personally have run several of the different models, and they are alot of boat for the money.
They are a mid tier quality boat, and are priced accordingly.

I have a 2015 21 foot BAY BOAT and the only thing negative to say is its not as wide as some other models.Other than that I’ve had no issues
