Spent all day at the navy station pier trying to catch sheepshead but instead we hooked a whole lot of gar but only managed to net one and it was pretty big.
I will be at the mpp tommorow trying to catch more sheepshead if anyone wants to come out.
I fished weapon station on Friday with my buddy. He caught a nice 19.5" trout and I got a fat 33.5" red
I caught my largest red at pier bravo a couple months ago. 35 inches! Wish I would have got a weight on him!

I did the underwater inspection of the piers out there for NAVFAC a few years back and I saw the biggest sheephead that I have ever seen under either Charlie or Bravo (whichever one is the oldest). It followed me and my dive buddy around eating the oysters that we were scraping off of the piles. The fish looked unnatural it was so big. Teeth more like the size of a horse. I will never forget it. It was huge to say the least.
