I will be updating the factory “insight” charts on my HDS 10 Gen 2 and I’m trying to figure out which to buy( Platinum + or Navionics +). I don’t care about satellite imagery that platinum + offers or “3D” views, I just want very accurate bathometry readings and contour lines for near shore and out to ~ 40 miles offshore. I mainly bottom fish and occasionally troll in those areas. The new navionics + card has the new “Sonar Charts” feature, but the Platinum + has “fish and chips” - which is better?. ? I’ve seen a ton of posts about the platinum + but very few about the new Navionics +. Any thoughts? Thanks
