Does anyone have some info on the areas around Wilmington, Kure beach, Carolina beach, etc?..
Mom is looking to book a place for a long weekend the end of this month and I’d be much appreciated for any info ya’ll can help me out with.
Dad is having surgery on his leg so won’t be able to walk much or far…we’d like something with a dock that’s not far from the house or beach front…

Hi Stretch, The holiday inn sunspree i think thats what it’s called very nice place right on the beach (wrightville) and close to jonny mercer pier. or waterway lodge is right in thr ICW with resturants very close. CB has a ton of hotels on the beach along with rental houses/condos. both places are about 10-20mins from down town. hope this helps and they have a good time and your dad surgery goes well.

If you are go to Fort Fisher! It is a good place for cheap. Private beach, cheap boat dock.
Think we paid $35 a day for a 2 bedroom cabin. Has everything a house does.
