Will be spending the 4th of July week at Murrells Inlet. Although the fishing is fine there I thought a trip or two into NC for a diversion(inlaws) would be good. Anybody got any info on some got put in spots etc. for the NC inshore fishing.
To clarify anything in about an hour drive North is what I am looking for.

southport is great, behind Bald head is really good. Just check the maps. I love it up there.

Taking the ferry from southport will put you right into Fort Fisher. Great fishing there, and some neat water. Give me or Carter a shout, we have both fished that area.
