Planning an October trip to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. Anyone know of any river front rentals within 45 minutes of Asheville? I found one in Bat Cave that I liked. Just wondering if anyone on here has a good suggestion.

I live an hour or less from biltmore and I’m up that way a lot I will ask around. What river? Green river or french broad? There are also a lot more smaller rivers/creeks

Check out the North Mills river. It is close to the AVL airport and I have done well there in the past. Lots of local googans show up early in the season but you should be OK. Here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPX5xg2Lgi0 .

Checkout VRBO.com. We rented a place about 30 min. west of Asheville that was on a nice little stream. Can’t remember the name but found it on VRBO.
