NC Rainbows

Went up to the mountains too fish the Davidson over the three day weekend. We hired a guide, who is a friend of a friend, and that helped us figure it out a little, since we hardly ever fish for trout. I ended up catching two fish that were over 20", one about 18", and a bunch of smaller fish. all but the second fish in these pics were caught on pink san juan worm, and the second one was caught on a copper john. We only took pictures of the bigger ones.

This fish was interesting because his back was all scarred up from an eagle or something that tried to grab him. There was also a female with him. She was a little smaller and broke off right when she touched the net.

Nice work!
