NC TUNA TRIP pics

Late report Went two weeks ago . 8hr drive to oregan inlet . Get too boat fin addict. 2 hr ride out great seas and ride. Inlet is a dangerous one.caugth tuna dolphin and bontia yea. Great to see how its done up there . All the boats bunch up and troll over this big pod of pilot whales I MEAN RIGTH OVER THEM .there must have been 200 to 300 just flooting around with no where to go and 30 boats trolling everywhere in 500 yd area . these boys troll rigth on top of each other. We will drag boat up there next yr for a week . IF you never tried yellow fin you need to booka trip next yr it is great .

N. C. fishing is tight fishing, so many boats, so few holes, I king fished N. C. over 20 years, on top of 6-10 boats constantly. Here in Charleston guys complain on this site regularly about boats too close, don’t go to N. C.; that’s the reason I left Morehead City and fished Southport, still Southport in April and October, aleays 8-15 boats on any popular spot on a Sat., and all within 1 mile or less radius.

Hell I can hand them a beer and carry a conversation they are that close . Was neat to see and everyone was doing there thing fishing.
