Not much going on just outside the rocks. Hits and hangs but nothing much to speak of except we lifted one nice bull red. Otherwise we just enjoyed a gorgeous day on the water. The 2011 fishing season is on!

In related news it was apparently the first day for captain of the “Southbound” as he overtook me on my port and then intentionally cut me off, leaving my rather small boat to deal with his large wake. However had the courtesy to send me the universal, one-fingered, thanks! Well thank you Mr-you-obviously-dont-know-how-to-drive-your-boat-responsibly, thank you!

I had some a-hole do the same thing. I didn’t see what the name was but it looked like a 30 something albemarle. We were headed out the shipping channel and he cut strait across in front of me for no apparent reason. I thought he was gonna try to cut between the north jetties and sullivans across that sandbar then he turned and followed us. Not sure if he was lost or what. I agree, this guy obviously had more money than brains.
