near shore in winter?

What type of fish might I find in the winter months in the near shore reefs. Is it worth making the trip? Please advise. Thanks for your replies.

Sea bass, black drum, sheephead, Redfish, weakfish. The bigger fish move in closer in the winter. Don’t let winter keep you in. The fishing can be some of the best of the year.

Thanks. That’s pretty much what I was thinking. We have had a lot of great weather.

Bennet, how do you rig for the flounder? I’ve pick up a few with a standard double hook bottom rig but know there is something better.

Any idea how to get thru the endangered BSB to a Flounder?

Work the area around structure. Don’t drop your rig right on top of a barge or ship. There are no flounder on deck.
