First time fishing the near shore reef just off the channel leaving the jetties. Caught lots of black sea bass, but only 12 were big enough to keep. And, 2 weakfish around 14". Most all fish were caught on cut blue fish, and squid. Would it be better to fish reefs further off shore for bigger black fish? And, what months are better for catching BSB @ the Chas. near shore reef? Do, the sheeps stack up here in the winter? Hope some of you vets can tell me. And, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I caught larger sea bass in the summer time at chas nearshore…winter time seems like people are fishing capers, chas 60, & the other structure in between…can’t remember the name
