Coming down for a quick weekend trip. Any thoughts on nearshore with the good weather forecast.
Fished Nearshore Reef Thursday and you can reel in as many small Black Sea bass as you can stand. Problem is none will measure. You do catch some others, and one boat caught flounder.
Williamson Gomame jig (1-1/2 oz.) worked best for me. It will cast far, fish love it, can release BSB fast, and I was able to use one jig all day and shake it loose the 40 times it hung up.
No luck on cobia I was after.
