Anyone been out to the nearshore reef recently?? Thinking of tyaking the kids out for some action on sea bass. They are 8 years old.

we were out there this past Friday afternoon with 3 other boats…no BSB over about 8" for us and didn’t notice anybody else with anything legal…we thought for sure there’d be a few legals there…take a pound of squid and the kids will have a blast catching the small ones…they are everywhere!
EDIT: they were even hitting the candy sized menhaden that are covering up the area behind Cummings Point…1 cast = 1,000 hadens…

Doesn’t matter how big they are if its for the kids. Just watchin’ the younguns’ laugh and enjoy it is worth the time.
