had the opportunity to paddle one of these the other day,so i thought i would post my findings.this kayak is a breeze to paddle.it is very fast,the fastest sit-in yak i have paddled by far.(dolphin,its as fast as the 13 model.)anyway,it was easy to cast from,and the seat is very comfortable.i had no problem sitting in it for 3+ hours.i believe it is right at 11ft long,and it might weigh 40 lbs tops.the seating area has plenty of room for a bag cooler to the front and a small jig box.the only thing i could see adding to it is a rod holder forward,and one aft for a net.wanted to add-i am 5-9 225lbs and there was plenty of room for me.just my .02
ps sold locally for 679.00-same place has paddle for 50.00 with yak purchase.might be a great winter yak,you can cover some distance in this yak no problem.just found out…its 42lbs right at 11ft.
