my father inlaw was diagnosed with a very aggressive acute leukemia just a few weeks ago, he’s in no shape to fish right now but I’m praying they Dr.Giles puts a combo of meds together that’ll make him feel well enough to take fishing soon as well…
he’s 83 so I’m not sure how this is going to go, but if he gets in a place where I can take him out for a half of a day I’m going to be asking for some of you guys best inshore honey holes so I can get him on the fish too!

Thank you everyone for so much support in this endeavor. We finally got out on the water yesterday with many thanks to Gage Blue the owner of the Sadie Beth. We all had a good time and Gage has to be the nicest guy I have met in a long long time. He truly enjoyed helping us as much as we enjoyed getting to go out on a boat like that and fishing. Thom did manage to get his first dolphin and King fish. The girls also had fun and got to land some fish. I think we managed to just about catch one of everything Sunday, Dolphin, King, Tuna, Bonita, Amberjack, A few sharks, baracuda. all in all a good memory.

Just saw this thread…glad you guys had a great trip and caught some fish. That is one lit up dolphin! Paul Mann builds very nice boats, so I’m sure it was a good ride. I don’t know “Gage” but he obviously has a big heart. Well done! That’s just awesome.

Gage is does have a really big heart, great guy. We are all grateful to know him and so glad that there are people out there willing to help out like this. it was pretty difficult to arrange with Thom’s schedules and family and all the other stuff going on, but it finally worked out.
