Check out this guy in Spartanburg. He guides regularly on the Green. Nice guy, also has fly shop in Sburg.His name is Brandon.

You don’t need a guide to fish the Green. I guess it’s close to being my “home” trout waters and it’s no problem catching, especially in the dh sections below fishtop falls. The fishing is a little harder above fishtop but the scenery is worth the walk. Lots of different water. You will want to check the flow schedule from Tuxedo because it gets a little dicey to wade it if they are generating power. Open season is June 2 and you don’t want to be up there with all the corn and crawler crowd. Let me know if I can help you with any questions.
