Need a little help please

I have to take a customer fishing near Bohicket/Seabrook/Kiawah. We are gong to keep it inshore with targets of red/trout.

I have never fished this area before. Any insight to fishing spots, bait, tides, would be most appreciated.

My friend Kevin Blair runs this charter business:

He’s a good guy. He fishes out of Folly Boat Ramp but does fish the waters around your area. You could give him a shout.

I was out with him one day and he said…there’s a big fish pushing over there…see him? I said no, I don’t see squat except for waves. He said, it’s the different waves inside the waves…there’s a school of fish there - cast into it. I did and caught this 39" bruiser

Thank you

I haven’t really got any help on this in case there is someone nice out there that wants to help out a fellow angler. I will do my best to return the favor.

I just sent you a PM. Hope it helps. Also, check over in the Inshore Reports forum for some details on my trip to Seabrook last weekend.
Go get 'em

try using one of the “top spots” maps for the Kiawah area. We used it a couple of weeks back, and found areas that were holding reds and some decent sized sharks. Most of the “spots” were identified on the map and were near the mouths of some of the creeks off of the Kiawah.

good luck!

what is a TOP SPOT map?
